My relationship with the Pre-School started in September 1995 when my eldest son, attended Sheering Playgroup, which it was then known as. I joined the committee, then after 6 months took on the role of Treasurer. My second son started Pre-School in November 1996 followed by son No 3 in June 1997. In 1999 I was offered a job as Pre-School Assistant working 4 mornings per week, very quickly increasing to 5. In September 2006 I became Deputy Manager but left in July 2007 to have my fourth son.

I returned to Pre-School in 2010 taking on the role of Financial Director. I completed my Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce in April 2014.

I took on the role of Deputy Manager in 2016 and became Managing Director in 2024.
